Susan Rains has been a Medfield resident since 2020. Since the spring of 2024 she has been a volunteer for Medfield TV, where she has produced stories and videoed community events.

Previously, she and her husband lived in Needham, where she worked as an administrative assistant for the principal of the John Eliot Elementary School She retired in 2020.

While in Needham she volunteered for The Needham Channel, where she co-hosted a magazine format show and produced stories for her show. In addition, she is a retired board member for The Needham Commission on Disabilities and was a committee member for three annual fund events for The Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital.

Susan has a B.A. in Communications and Public Relations from Simmons College.
