We’ve got some scary good news…
Scarecrow Spooktacular is coming back for its 2nd year!
Join us at Baxter Park on October 19th, from 12 PM – 4 PM for Medfield TV’s Scarecrow Spooktacular brought to you by GEICO of Braintree. Enjoy a day full of fall festivities, entertainment, local vendors, and of course…scarecrows! Don’t forget to arrive in costume to participate in GEICO of Braintree’s Costume Contest.
Scarecrow registration is open! Create your own unique scarecrow to enter the competition or vote for your favorites on the day of the event.
Judges will determine winners for the following categories: Most Creative, Spookiest, Wackiest, and our new category Most Dazzling. Event attendees will vote 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for their ‘Community Favorite’. Scarecrows will stay up after the event until Saturday, November 2nd. 1st place winners will receive a trophy and a monetary prize!
Registration is open to individuals/families, businesses, and non-profit organizations. Participants must have a member of their group who is 16 and older. Scarecrows must be registered by October 12th, 11:59 PM. Additional rules and regulations will be on the registration form.
