Film Production through Stop Motion

Want to bring inanimate objects to life?

During this 4-day class, students will use their imaginations to create short stop-motion films. Students will use professional-level animation software to tell a story using figurines.

Medfield TV staff will teach students the fundamentals of animation and storyboarding. By learning to convey emotion through lighting design, students will tell a story without the use of dialogue. With the Dragonframe 2024 software, they will create an engaging and entertaining work of art.

Students will work in groups and will showcase their films at the end of class. Projects will be shared on Medfield TV’s website, social media platforms, YouTube channel, and on Medfield cable.

This class is for kids ages 11-14 who have an interest in storytelling, filming, or animation. No experience necessary!
