2023 Summer Schedule
Self Care Through Video Editing
Attention young aspiring video editors and storytellers!
During this 4-day class, students will learn the fundamentals of post-production by using scripted video and b-roll to tell a compelling visual story. Students will also learn about healthy self-care tactics from a public health perspective and will share their own tips with the community through on-camera recordings in our studio,
Medfield Outreach Prevention Coordinators will teach students about the basics of public health and the importance of self care. Medfield TV staff will help students develop professional video editing skills through the use of Adobe Premiere Pro. Teams of two students will work together to create an effective video that inspires their audience. Student projects will air on Medfield TV’s Youtube channel and on Medfield cable.
This class is for kids ages 11-14 who have a passion for visual storytelling, video editing and/or public health communications. No previous experience is necessary!
